We are currently looking for experienced and responsible Phlebotomists to join our professional healthcare team in Hong Kong.
This position is suitable for candidates with proven experience in blood collection who are able to work carefully, professionally, and efficiently while providing a high standard of patient service.
POSITION DETAILS
Position: Phlebotomist / Blood Collection Staff
Salary: HK$120 per hour
Working Hours: 09:00–13:00
Work Schedule: Day Shift
Work Location: Various locations across Hong Kong

Tai Wai (大圍)
Whampoa (黃埔)
Tiu Keng Leng (調景嶺)
Other designated locations depending on operational requirements
JOB SUMMARY
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood collection procedures safely and professionally.
The successful candidate should have practical experience in venipuncture, be comfortable working with patients, and be able to follow medical procedures and workplace standards accurately.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail, good communication skills, proper hygiene practices, and a responsible attitude toward patient safety and specimen handling.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform blood collection and venipuncture procedures accurately and safely.
Prepare patients for blood collection and explain the procedure when necessary.
Verify patient information before performing blood collection.
Select appropriate blood collection equipment according to the required procedure.
Follow proper blood collection techniques and medical procedures.
Ensure all blood specimens are collected correctly and safely.
Label and handle blood specimens accurately after collection.
Ensure specimens are properly prepared for laboratory testing.
Maintain proper hygiene and infection-control standards at all times.
Dispose of needles, medical waste, and used equipment according to safety procedures.
Monitor patients during and after blood collection.
Respond appropriately if a patient feels uncomfortable, dizzy, or unwell.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Check and prepare necessary equipment and supplies before work.
Report damaged equipment, shortages, or operational issues to the appropriate person.
Follow all clinic and workplace policies and procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality and handle patient information responsibly.
Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to patients.
Work closely with other healthcare and clinic staff.
Assist with other relevant duties when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of relevant blood collection / phlebotomy experience is required.
Practical experience performing venipuncture and blood collection.
Good knowledge of blood collection procedures and basic healthcare safety practices.
Able to handle blood collection equipment properly and safely.
Candidates who are able to operate an ECG (Electrocardiogram) machine will have an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, responsible, careful, and detail-oriented.
Able to work professionally with patients of different ages and backgrounds.
Able to follow instructions and medical procedures accurately.
Good teamwork and cooperation skills.
Able to maintain a professional appearance and workplace attitude.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Candidates must be willing to work at different designated locations when required.
ECG EXPERIENCE
Experience with ECG (Electrocardiogram) operation is an advantage.
Candidates who have knowledge or practical experience in performing ECG procedures may be given priority, depending on operational requirements.

All staff are expected to maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance while working.

Hair:
Long hair extending below the shoulders must be tied into a ponytail.
If the hair is particularly long, it must be tied into a braid to maintain a neat and professional appearance during work.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is an experienced Phlebotomist who is confident in performing blood collection procedures and understands the importance of patient safety, hygiene, accuracy, and professional service.
You should be comfortable communicating with patients, able to remain calm and professional during procedures, and willing to work cooperatively with other healthcare staff.
Candidates with 2 years or more of blood collection experience are strongly preferred. Experience with ECG operation is an additional advantage.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of blood collection experience.
ECG operation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Staff must follow the required dress code.
Long hair must be properly tied according to workplace requirements.
