JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Trolley Assistant is responsible for ensuring that airport baggage trolleys are always available, clean, safe, and conveniently located for passengers throughout Changi Airport.

 

Daily responsibilities include:

Collect baggage trolleys from arrival halls, departure halls, terminals, transportation hubs, taxi stands, bus bays, MRT connections, car parks, and public waiting areas.

 

Transport and redistribute baggage trolleys to designated trolley stations across all airport terminals.

 

Ensure passengers always have sufficient trolleys available during peak and non-peak operating hours.

 

Inspect trolleys regularly to ensure they are clean, safe, and in good working condition.

 

Report damaged, faulty, or unsafe trolleys to supervisors for maintenance or replacement.

 

Maintain cleanliness and organization of trolley collection points.

 

Follow airport operational procedures and workplace safety regulations at all times.

 

Respond promptly to operational requests from supervisors and airport management.

 

Assist with maintaining smooth passenger flow by ensuring trolley stations remain fully stocked.

 

Support airport operational teams during busy flight schedules.

 

Carry out additional operational duties assigned by supervisors when required.

 

Demonstrate professionalism while interacting with passengers and airport personnel.

 

Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

 

WORKING HOURS

Permanent Night Shift

Working Schedule:

5 Working Days per Week

2 Rest Days (Rotating Schedule)

Working Time:

10:20 PM – 6:40 AM

This position requires candidates who are comfortable working permanent overnight shifts according to operational schedules.

 

SALARY PACKAGE

Basic Salary: Up to SGD 3,300 per Month

Night Shift Allowance

Overtime Pay

Performance Bonus

Additional earnings may increase based on overtime and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Male or Female applicants are welcome.

 

No previous working experience is required.

Training will be provided for successful candidates.

 

Minimum secondary school education or equivalent is preferred.

 

Physically fit and able to perform manual operational duties.

Comfortable walking long distances throughout airport terminals.

 

Able to stand and work for extended periods.

Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.

 

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Able to follow company procedures and workplace safety standards.

 

Willing to work permanent night shifts.
