Location:

HarbourFront or Changi Airport, Singapore

Salary:

SGD 2,700 – SGD 3,200 per Month

Working Schedule:

5 Working Days per Week

44 Working Hours per Week

Rotating Shift Hours:

Shift 1: 5:45 AM – 3:30 PM

Shift 2: 10:00 AM – 7:45 PM

Shift 3: 3:15 PM – 1:00 AM

Job Responsibilities

As a Retail Associate, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent shopping experience for both local and international travellers.

 

You will represent the brand professionally while ensuring customers receive outstanding service and assistance throughout their shopping journey.

 

Your responsibilities include:

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

 

Provide excellent customer service to local and international travellers.

 

Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences.

Promote duty-free products, exclusive promotions, seasonal offers, and new arrivals.

 

Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall store performance.

Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.

 

Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, clean, and attractively presented at all times.

Replenish merchandise promptly to maintain product availability.

 

Maintain high standards of visual merchandising according to company guidelines.

Perform cashiering duties using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

 

Process cash, credit card, digital payments, refunds, and product exchanges accurately.

Conduct daily stock checks and assist with inventory control and stock replenishment.

 

Receive, unpack, label, and arrange incoming merchandise.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store.

 

Possess strong knowledge of product categories including liquor, tobacco, fragrances, cosmetics, skincare, confectionery, chocolates, souvenirs, and travel essentials.

 

Keep updated on new product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand information.

 

Provide customers with accurate information regarding duty-free shopping allowances and airport retail regulations.

 

Work closely with supervisors and teammates to ensure smooth daily store operations.

Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally while maintaining high service standards.

 

Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety requirements.

 

Requirements

Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level, GCE ‘O’ Level, or equivalent qualification.

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

 

Experience in duty-free retail, airport retail, or travel retail will be an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.

 

Able to communicate effectively in English.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Customer-focused with a friendly and professional personality.

 

Sales-driven and motivated to achieve performance targets.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-volume retail environment.

Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

 

Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
