JOB OVERVIEW
MRT Cleaners will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of MRT stations and assigned public transportation facilities in Singapore.
Employees will work as part of a professional cleaning team and will be assigned to different areas depending on operational requirements.
The role requires employees to follow daily cleaning schedules, workplace safety procedures, hygiene standards, and instructions from supervisors.
This position is suitable for applicants who are physically fit, responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn. Previous cleaning experience is not required because training will be provided to successful candidates.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain MRT stations and assigned facilities on a daily basis.
Maintain cleanliness of station platforms, walkways, entrances, exits, corridors, staircases, lifts, waiting areas, and other designated public areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, wash, and sanitize assigned areas according to the required cleaning schedule.
Clean and maintain public toilets and other sanitary facilities.
Collect, separate, and dispose of rubbish and waste properly.
Keep passenger areas clean, organized, and presentable throughout the working period.
Clean floors, walls, windows, doors, railings, furniture, and other assigned surfaces.
Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties according to company standards.
Use cleaning tools, machines, equipment, and cleaning products safely and correctly.
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored after use.
Check assigned areas regularly and carry out additional cleaning when necessary.
Respond to cleaning requirements in public areas when requested by supervisors.
Report damaged equipment, maintenance problems, safety hazards, spills, or other issues to the supervisor.
Follow all company policies, workplace procedures, health and safety requirements, and hygiene standards.
Complete assigned cleaning tasks within the required time.
Work closely with other cleaning staff and supervisors to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Carry out other reasonable cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
REQUIREMENTS
Male and female applicants are welcome to apply.

Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Applicants should be physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, lifting, bending, and moving cleaning equipment.
Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
Willing to learn new cleaning procedures and workplace practices.
Able to follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
Able to work independently when required.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Must maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
