MRT CLEANER (DAY / NIGHT SHIFT)

We are currently seeking dedicated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as MRT Cleaners. This is a full-time position offering both Day Shift and Night Shift opportunities. As an MRT Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring that MRT stations, train cabins, platforms, and public facilities remain clean, safe, and comfortable for thousands of passengers every day.
Job Details
Position: MRT Cleaner
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Singapore (MRT Stations & Trains)
Working Days: 5–6 Days per Week
Available Shifts:
Day Shift
Night Shift
Rotating Shift (Subject to Operational Requirements)
Monthly Salary: SGD 1,500 – SGD 2,500
Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, work performance, attendance, and assigned shift schedule.
Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Male and Female applicants are welcome.
Below 55 years of age.
Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties.
Healthy, energetic, and hardworking.
Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift light cleaning equipment for extended periods.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Good attitude, responsible, and disciplined.
Able to understand and follow work instructions.
Willing to work Day Shift, Night Shift, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Training will be provided for successful applicants.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across MRT stations and train facilities, including but not limited to:
Clean MRT stations, train cabins, and railway facilities.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors.
Wipe and sanitize handrails, seats, doors, windows, ticket machines, and other touchpoints.
Clean platforms, stairways, escalators, elevators, waiting areas, and passenger walkways.
Collect, remove, and dispose of rubbish according to company procedures.
Replace rubbish bags and maintain waste collection points.
Clean and disinfect public toilets and washroom facilities.
Refill soap dispensers, tissue paper, and other restroom supplies.
Clean mirrors, sinks, walls, partitions, and toilet fixtures.
Dust furniture, signboards, equipment, and station facilities.
Remove stains, spills, and litter from public areas.
Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Follow all workplace safety regulations and cleaning procedures.
Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
Complete assigned cleaning schedules within the required time.
Ensure all assigned areas remain clean, hygienic, and presentable throughout the shift.
Assist with additional cleaning duties assigned by supervisors when necessary.
