About the Role
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), one of the world’s leading aviation hubs, is seeking motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join the Airport Ground Operations team as Trolley Assistants.
This position plays an important role in ensuring baggage trolleys are always available for passengers throughout the airport.
Comprehensive paid training will be provided, making this opportunity suitable for both experienced workers and first-time job seekers.
Position Overview
As a Trolley Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting, transporting, organizing, and redistributing baggage trolleys across various airport areas.
You will work closely with supervisors and operational teams to ensure trolley stations remain fully stocked while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collect baggage trolleys from arrival halls, departure halls, baggage claim areas, terminal entrances, transport hubs, and parking areas.
Transport groups of trolleys safely to designated trolley stations.
Maintain sufficient trolley availability throughout assigned shifts.
Monitor trolley stations and replenish trolleys during peak periods.
Inspect trolleys for damage or safety concerns.
Report faulty equipment for maintenance or replacement.
Maintain clean and organized trolley storage areas.
Follow airport operational procedures and workplace safety regulations.
Support airport operations during weekends, public holidays, and peak travel seasons.
Coordinate with supervisors and airport service teams.
Provide basic assistance and directions to passengers when required.
Maintain professional conduct and service standards.
Perform additional duties within the scope of the position.
Candidate Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
No previous work experience required.
Fresh graduates and first-time job seekers are encouraged to apply.

Minimum basic education.
Physically fit and capable of manual work.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
Able to push and maneuver multiple baggage trolleys safely.
Willing to work day or night shifts.
Available for weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and dependable.
Able to work independently and within a multicultural team.
Basic English communication skills preferred.
Knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage but not mandatory.
