JOB OVERVIEW
Position: Entry IT Helpdesk Support
Location: West & East Region, Singapore
Salary: S$2,300 – S$3,200 per month
Employment Type: Part-Time, Full-Time & Contract
Work Schedule: 5.5 Days per Week

Education: Minimum NITEC in IT or equivalent
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Entry IT Helpdesk Support, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical assistance to users and assisting with day-to-day IT support operations.
You will work closely with internal teams, users, and technical staff to identify and resolve basic hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
The successful candidate should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in developing a career within the technology services industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the IT Helpdesk Support team, your responsibilities may include:
Provide first-level IT support to users through phone, email, chat, or other support channels.
Respond to users’ technical questions and assist in resolving basic IT-related problems.
Troubleshoot common hardware, software, system, and connectivity issues.
Assist users with computer, laptop, printer, and other IT equipment-related problems.
Support the installation, configuration, and basic maintenance of software and IT equipment.
Assist with user account, password, login, and access-related issues.
Record and update technical support requests in the appropriate ticketing or service management system.
Follow up on unresolved issues and escalate complex technical problems to the relevant IT team.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Provide clear and professional communication when assisting users.
Follow established IT support procedures, company policies, and security guidelines.
Assist the technical team with routine IT maintenance and operational tasks.
Perform other IT support duties or assignments as required by the supervisor or management.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
No prior IT helpdesk or technical support experience is required.
Minimum NITEC in IT or equivalent qualification.
Passion for technology and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of computers and common IT applications.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to communicate professionally with users and colleagues.
Responsible, patient, and service-oriented.
Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Willing to learn new technologies, systems, and troubleshooting procedures.
Able to follow instructions and established IT support processes.
Good problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
The following skills will be an advantage:
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
Basic understanding of networking and internet connectivity.
Familiarity with troubleshooting common computer problems.
Customer service or user support experience.
Basic knowledge of IT service management or helpdesk procedures.
Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior IT working experience are welcome to apply.
