PRODUCTION & PACKAGING STAFF | SINGAPORE

A leading chocolate manufacturing company in Singapore is currently hiring Production and Packaging Staff to join its growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in working in a structured food manufacturing environment and would like to gain practical experience in chocolate production, packaging, quality control and factory operations.

Production and packaging positions are available according to company manpower requirements and production schedules.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Production and Packaging Staff will support daily operations inside the chocolate manufacturing and packaging facility. The successful candidate will work as part of a production team responsible for preparing materials, assisting with production processes, operating basic packaging equipment, packing finished chocolate products and checking products before they are transferred for storage or distribution.

The role requires employees to follow company procedures carefully, maintain high standards of food hygiene, keep the workplace clean and safe, and complete assigned production tasks efficiently.

Previous experience is not essential because training will be provided. However, applicants should be willing to learn, follow instructions and work responsibly in a fast-paced production environment.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies required for daily production activities.

Assist production workers and supervisors with the preparation of materials before the production process begins.

Follow production schedules and instructions provided by the production supervisor.

Assist with chocolate manufacturing and related food production activities according to established company procedures.

Operate basic production and packaging machinery after receiving the necessary training.

Monitor machines during operation and report unusual sounds, faults, stoppages or other problems to the supervisor.

Load and arrange approved materials into designated production or packaging equipment according to instructions.

Assist with transferring products between different stages of the production process.

Pack finished chocolate products into boxes, containers, wrappers or other approved packaging.

Ensure products are packed correctly and according to company standards.

Check packaging for damage, incorrect sealing, missing labels or other visible issues.

Inspect finished products for obvious defects and separate products that do not meet the required standards.

Assist with counting, sorting and arranging finished products.

Apply labels, stickers or other required packaging information according to instructions.

Prepare completed cartons and packages for storage or delivery.

Keep production materials properly organized.

Maintain a clean and orderly workstation throughout the working shift.

Clean production areas, work surfaces and assigned equipment according to company hygiene procedures.

Follow all food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements.

Wear required protective clothing and follow factory safety procedures at all times.

Handle chocolate products and production materials carefully to prevent contamination or damage.

Follow instructions regarding proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.

Report damaged materials, defective products, equipment problems or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Assist with stock checking and material preparation when required.

Work together with other production employees to achieve daily production targets.

Support the team during busy production periods.

Perform other reasonable duties related to production and packaging as assigned by the supervisor.

PRODUCTION AND PACKAGING ACTIVITIES

Employees may be assigned to different areas of the production and packaging operation depending on manpower requirements and individual training.

Typical duties may include preparing packaging materials, checking product quantities, placing products into packaging, sealing packages, labeling products, arranging finished goods, checking product appearance and preparing cartons for storage.

Employees may also assist with cleaning production areas and preparing equipment between production activities.

All employees are expected to follow the company’s standard operating procedures and instructions from supervisors.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The position is based in a professional chocolate manufacturing and food production facility in Singapore.

Employees will work in designated production, processing, packaging and storage areas. Depending on the assigned department, the working environment may involve standing for extended periods, repetitive movements, working around production machinery and handling food products and packaging materials.

The production environment operates according to strict hygiene and safety standards. Employees are expected to maintain personal cleanliness and follow all food handling requirements.

Appropriate protective clothing and safety equipment may be required depending on the assigned work area.

WORK SCHEDULE

The advertised work schedule is approximately four days per week, subject to the company’s production requirements and employment arrangement.

Day and night shifts may be available.

Employees may be assigned to different shifts depending on production demand and operational requirements.

SALARY
