This role is essential in ensuring airport luggage trolleys are available, properly arranged, clean, and ready for passenger use at all times.

Position Summary

As a Trolley Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting, transporting, arranging, and maintaining airport luggage trolleys throughout all passenger terminals and designated airport facilities.

 

You will work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to ensure sufficient trolley availability while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

 

The role requires individuals who are physically fit, reliable, punctual, and capable of working permanent night shifts. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

 

Collect luggage trolleys from arrival halls, departure halls, transit lounges, baggage claim areas, taxi stands, bus bays, MRT stations, car parks, hotels, and surrounding airport facilities.

 

Push and transport multiple luggage trolleys safely to designated collection points.

Replenish trolley stations to ensure passengers always have immediate access to luggage trolleys.

 

Arrange trolleys neatly according to airport operational standards.

Monitor trolley availability throughout assigned airport terminals.

 

Perform routine inspections on airport trolleys to identify damaged or defective units.

Immediately report damaged, missing, or unsafe trolleys to supervisors.

 

Maintain cleanliness of trolley stations and surrounding work areas.

Remove obstacles or hazards that may affect passenger safety.

 

Follow all workplace safety procedures and airport operational regulations.

Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

 

Wear company-issued uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during working hours.

Provide friendly assistance to passengers when required.

 

Respond promptly to operational requests from airport management.

 

Assist with crowd management during peak travel periods if instructed.

Support airport events and operational activities when required.

 

Maintain accurate communication with supervisors regarding daily operations.

Complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.

 

Attend company training sessions and safety briefings.

Perform additional operational duties assigned by supervisors or management.

 

Job Requirements

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

Open to applicants who are legally eligible to work in Singapore.

 

No previous experience is required.

Fresh graduates and first-time job seekers are encouraged to apply.

 

Minimum secondary school education is preferred.

 

Basic English communication skills.

Physically fit and healthy.

 

Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Able to push multiple luggage trolleys safely.

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

 

Willing to work permanent night shifts.

Able to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when operationally required.

 

Responsible, trustworthy, and disciplined.

Working Schedule

Permanent Night Shift.

 

Working Hours: 10:20 PM – 6:40 AM.

Five working days per week.

Two scheduled rest days according to the duty roster.

 

Overtime opportunities may be available depending on operational requirements.

Shift schedules are assigned by management.

 

Training

No experience is necessary. Successful applicants will receive structured on-the-job training covering:

Work Environment

Employees will work in various areas across Changi Airport, including passenger terminals, arrival halls, departure halls, transit areas, baggage claim areas, transportation hubs, and designated trolley collection points.

 

The work involves continuous walking, standing, and pushing airport trolleys while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
