JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Kitchen Staff

Assist with the preparation of ingredients and food before restaurant service.

Assist with cooking and preparing authentic Thai dishes according to restaurant standards.

Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces, spices, and other food products.

Follow food preparation and cooking procedures carefully.

Ensure food is prepared hygienically and presented properly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.

Clean cooking equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and kitchen areas.

Check food ingredients and supplies and inform the responsible person when stocks are running low.

Store food and ingredients properly according to restaurant procedures.

Assist other kitchen team members when necessary.

Follow instructions from the kitchen supervisor or manager.

Follow all restaurant hygiene, food safety, and workplace rules.

Work efficiently during busy restaurant hours.

Help ensure that food orders are prepared accurately and on time.

Restaurant Service Staff

Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide good customer service throughout the customer’s visit.

Take customer orders accurately and clearly.

Explain menu items and answer customers’ questions when necessary.

Deliver food and drinks to customers’ tables.

Check that customers receive the correct orders.

Maintain clean and organized tables and restaurant areas.

Clear tables and clean the dining area after customers leave.

Assist with basic restaurant preparation before opening and cleaning after service.

Communicate customer requests to the kitchen team.

Assist with the daily operation of the restaurant.

Handle customer requests politely and professionally.

Work together with other staff members to provide smooth and efficient service.

Follow instructions from the restaurant supervisor or manager.

Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at work.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

All employees are expected to work as part of a team and contribute to the smooth daily operation of THAI DAILY FOOD.

Employees may be required to assist with additional reasonable duties related to restaurant operations when necessary. Team members should be flexible, cooperative, punctual, and willing to help colleagues during busy periods.

Employees are expected to treat customers, colleagues, supervisors, and management with respect and professionalism.

WORKING HOURS

Working Time: 09:00 – 14:00

Employees are expected to arrive on time and be ready to begin work according to the scheduled working hours.

Working arrangements may vary depending on the position and restaurant operational requirements.

SALARY

Part-Time: HK$60–80 per hour

Full-Time: HK$15,000–20,000 per month

Salary may vary depending on the position, work experience, skills, qualifications, responsibilities, and agreed employment arrangements.

Further employment details will be discussed during the interview.

DAYS OFF

Employees will receive 2 days off per week.

Regular Days Off: Saturday and Sunday

Public Holidays: Off on public holidays according to the applicable work arrangement and regulations.

The actual work schedule may be arranged according to restaurant operations and staffing requirements.

Previous restaurant, food service, kitchen, or customer service experience is an advantage.

Candidates without previous restaurant experience may also be considered depending on their attitude, ability, and suitability for the position.
