Job Description
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency within the restaurant.
The successful candidate will ensure that all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and food preparation areas meet the highest cleanliness standards required in a professional food service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Cleaning
Wash dishes, plates, bowls, cups, trays, and utensils thoroughly.
Clean pots, pans, cooking equipment, and kitchen tools.
Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
Inspect cleaned items to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Organize and store cleaned items in designated locations.
Kitchen Sanitation
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations.
Clean sinks, floors, walls, and food preparation areas.
Ensure garbage bins are emptied and sanitized regularly.
Follow sanitation procedures according to restaurant standards.
Help maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
Support Duties
Assist kitchen staff with cleaning-related tasks.
Refill cleaning supplies and washing materials when necessary.
Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen equipment.
Support daily restaurant operations as instructed by supervisors.
Help ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Safety Compliance
Follow workplace safety regulations at all times.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly.
Wear required protective equipment while working.
Report damaged equipment or safety hazards immediately.
Follow food hygiene and health regulations.
