Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Engine Technician to support aircraft engine maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspection, assembly, and testing activities.

 

The successful candidate will work with aircraft engines and engine modules while following approved technical procedures and maintaining strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

 

This position is suitable for candidates with relevant aviation maintenance experience who have worked as a full-fledged technician and are familiar with aircraft engine components, maintenance procedures, inspection requirements, and technical standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

Perform disassembly and assembly of aircraft engines into individual modules for repair and overhaul activities.

 

Carry out the removal, installation, and replacement of aircraft engine components and parts according to approved procedures.

 

Install engine components and parts onto aircraft engines and modules with proper attention to technical specifications and workmanship standards.

 

Perform inspection and assessment of aircraft engines and engine components in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.

 

Identify and report defects, abnormalities, damage, or other issues found during inspection and maintenance activities.

 

Support engine functional testing and performance verification after maintenance, repair, or overhaul activities.

 

Ensure that all maintenance and technical work is completed according to approved procedures, work instructions, and applicable aviation requirements.

Maintain proper quality standards throughout the disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing processes.

 

Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and all applicable aviation, quality, and regulatory standards.

 

Handle aircraft engine components and tools carefully to prevent damage and maintain the required level of workmanship.

 

Work closely with other technicians and relevant teams to support efficient completion of engine maintenance and overhaul activities.

Follow technical instructions and established maintenance procedures when carrying out assigned tasks.

 

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment throughout maintenance operations.

 

Support the team in achieving required maintenance schedules while maintaining safety and quality requirements.

 

Job Requirements

Candidates with Aerospace certificates or other relevant technical qualifications are preferred.

Applicants must have at least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full-fledged technician.

 

The required 2 years of experience must be relevant experience working as a full-fledged technician.

 

Experience gained as an On-the-Job Trainee, helper, or assistant mechanic will not be counted toward the required 2 years of technician experience.

 

Candidates should have relevant knowledge of aviation maintenance, aircraft engine components, and technical procedures.

 

Applicants should be able to understand and follow approved technical and maintenance procedures.

 

Candidates must demonstrate good attention to detail when carrying out inspection, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance work.

 

The ability to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship is essential.

 

Candidates should be comfortable working as part of a technical maintenance team and following established workplace procedures.

 

Relevant aviation engine maintenance or overhaul experience will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have practical aviation maintenance experience and a strong understanding of aircraft engine maintenance activities. Candidates should be able to perform technical tasks accurately, follow approved procedures, work safely, and maintain the required quality standards.

 

Applicants with relevant Aerospace qualifications and previous experience as a full-fledged aviation technician are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have sufficient hands-on experience to independently perform assigned maintenance and technical duties under the applicable procedures and standards.

 

Important Experience Requirement

Please note that candidates must have at least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry specifically as a full-fledged technician.

 

Experience from OJT, helper positions, or assistant mechanic roles will not be considered as part of the required 2 years of technician experience.
