JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently hiring Assembly Technicians for a full-time position located in Upper Changi Road, East Singapore. SHIFT INFORMATION

Day Shift

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Noon Shift

Working Hours: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Additional Benefit: Shift allowance provided

Transport is provided for employees working the Noon Shift, subject to the company’s designated transport arrangements and route coverage.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assembly Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to production requirements.

Perform basic testing of assembled components to ensure proper operation.

 

Read and follow wiring diagrams, technical drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

Ensure all components are assembled correctly and according to required specifications.

Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects, damage, or quality issues.

Perform basic troubleshooting when assembly or component issues are identified.

 

 

Identify and report defective or non-conforming components to the relevant supervisor or team leader.

Carry out basic checks and adjustments during the assembly and testing process.

Update basic work records, production information, and job-related details in the company system.

 

 

Follow all workplace safety rules, company procedures, and quality requirements.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Handle tools, equipment, and components carefully and responsibly.

 

 

Work together with team members to complete assigned production and assembly tasks.

Support the team in meeting daily production, quality, and operational targets.

Perform other reasonable assembly-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Basic technical knowledge or understanding of electrical and/or mechanical components.

Able to understand and follow technical instructions and work procedures.

Able to follow wiring diagrams or basic technical drawings.

Comfortable working with electrical and mechanical components.

 

 

Good attention to detail and able to identify basic defects or irregularities.

Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.

 

 

Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Good attitude toward work and willingness to follow company procedures.

Able to work the assigned fixed shift.

Candidates should be physically and practically comfortable performing assembly-related duties.

 

 

Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, electrical, mechanical, or technical work will be an advantage.
