JOB OVERVIEW

The Hotel Cleaner / Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of hotel guest rooms and designated hotel areas.

 

Candidates should be physically fit, responsible, hardworking, and willing to follow hotel housekeeping procedures and standards.

Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is welcome but not required. Training may be provided to suitable candidates.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean and maintain hotel guest rooms according to housekeeping standards.

Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, toilets, sinks, showers, and other facilities.

 

 

Change bed linens, pillowcases, blankets, and towels as required.

Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean floors in guest rooms and assigned areas.

 

 

Dust and wipe furniture, tables, surfaces, windows, and other room fixtures.

Refill guest amenities and housekeeping supplies when necessary.

 

 

Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

Check guest rooms to ensure they are clean, tidy, and ready for guests.

Report damaged, missing, or defective items to the housekeeping supervisor.

 

 

Follow hotel cleaning procedures, hygiene requirements, and safety standards.

Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and work areas.

 

 

Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.

Assist the housekeeping team with daily cleaning duties and assigned tasks.

 

 

Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within the required time.

Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward guests and colleagues.

 

 

Follow instructions from supervisors and housekeeping management.

Support other housekeeping duties when required.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants aged 21–50 years old.

Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping and cleaning duties.

 

 

Hardworking, responsible, reliable, and punctual.

Willing to learn and follow instructions.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

 

Basic English communication skills are an advantage.

Previous hotel, housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience is welcome but not mandatory.

 

 

Able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and remain active during working hours.

Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.

 

 

Willing to follow hotel rules, workplace policies, and housekeeping standards.

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and completing assigned duties properly.
