NURSING CLEANER (HEALTHCARE SUPPORT SERVICES) – SINGAPORE

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: 6-Day Work Week

Work Location: East Area, Singapore

Salary

SGD 1,700 – SGD 1,910 per month (Basic Salary)

Basic salary is offered up to SGD 1,910 per month depending on experience, attendance, and company policy.

 

Overtime (OT) opportunities are available and paid according to the employer’s regulations, allowing employees to increase their monthly earnings.

 

 

Working Hours (Rostered Shift)

Morning Shift:

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Day Shift:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employees will work according to a rostered shift schedule assigned by the company.

 

Shift assignments may change based on operational requirements. Overtime, weekend work, and public holiday duties may be required when necessary.

 

Job Overview

The Nursing Cleaner (Healthcare Support Services) is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within healthcare facilities.

 

The successful candidate will support infection prevention by ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized according to hospital standards.

 

This role plays an important part in creating a safe environment for patients, visitors, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

 

Job Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, hospital wards, treatment rooms, consultation rooms, and common areas.

 

Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.

 

Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including handrails, door handles, switches, tables, chairs, and workstations.

 

Maintain cleanliness of toilets, washrooms, bathrooms, changing rooms, and staff facilities.

Replenish toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, hand sanitizers, and other hygiene supplies.

 

Collect, separate, and dispose of general waste, recyclable materials, and soiled linen according to healthcare procedures.

 

Replace rubbish bags and ensure waste bins remain clean and hygienic.

 

Clean glass panels, windows, mirrors, walls, doors, elevators, waiting areas, reception counters, and public spaces.

Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained after every shift.

 

Use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants safely according to company procedures.

Follow infection prevention and infection control protocols at all times.

 

Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual situations to supervisors immediately.

Perform terminal cleaning and deep cleaning whenever assigned.

 

Assist with moving light furniture when carrying out cleaning duties.

Maintain proper housekeeping standards throughout the assigned work area.

 

Complete daily cleaning schedules and checklists accurately.

Perform any additional cleaning or housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

 

Requirements

Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning work.

 

Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the working shift.

 

Willing to work in a healthcare environment.

Able to follow company procedures and supervisor instructions.

 

Responsible, punctual, honest, and hardworking.

Good attitude and willingness to learn.

 

Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

Willing to work rotating shifts based on the company roster.

 

Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.

 

No previous experience is required.

Training will be provided for all successful applicants.
