Job Information

Position: Clinical Assistant (Full-Time)

Industry: Healthcare / Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Clinic

Location: Bugis, Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position

Working Days: 5 Days per Week

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Rest Days: Wednesday, Sunday, and Singapore Public Holidays

Monthly Salary

Basic Salary ranges from SGD 2,400 to SGD 2,600 per month, depending on qualifications, experience, and overall performance.

Job Description

As a Clinical Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the clinic’s daily operations while ensuring patients receive excellent customer service throughout their visit.

 

You will work closely with doctors, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to maintain efficient clinic operations.

 

Your daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Register new patients and verify patient information.

 

Handle front desk reception duties and cashiering.

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.

Answer telephone calls, emails, and patient enquiries professionally.

Maintain accurate patient records and update clinic databases.

 

Prepare consultation rooms before and after each patient visit.

Count medications accurately and prepare medicine sachets, capsules, tablets, and herbal prescriptions according to clinic procedures.

 

Label medications correctly before dispensing.

Assist doctors and therapists during consultations and treatments when required.

 

Ensure medical equipment and consultation rooms remain clean and organized.

Monitor stock levels of medicines, medical supplies, and clinic inventory.

 

Prepare daily reports and administrative documents.

Process patient payments and issue official receipts.

Maintain confidentiality of patient records and medical information.

 

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Perform filing, photocopying, scanning, and general office administration.

 

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the clinic.

Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisors or clinic management.

 

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and abilities:

Minimum secondary school education or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, pharmacy, or healthcare environment is an advantage but not compulsory.

 

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided.

Proficient in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).

 

Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia, Hokkien, or Cantonese will be considered an added advantage.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

 

Friendly, polite, and professional attitude.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

 

Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling medications.

Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications.

 

Responsible, honest, reliable, and willing to learn.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Physically fit to perform daily clinic duties.

Willing to comply with clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
