Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of the store. This role involves assisting customers, operating the cashier, replenishing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring that all operational standards are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome every customer with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
Deliver excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases.
Process customer purchases accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit card, digital payment, and other payment transactions responsibly.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and returns according to company procedures.
Restock shelves, beverage coolers, freezers, and promotional displays.
Arrange merchandise according to company merchandising standards.
Ensure products are displayed neatly and attractively.
Monitor stock availability and report low inventory to supervisors.
Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged products from display.
Receive, inspect, unpack, and organize incoming deliveries.
Assist in inventory counting and stock control activities.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the sales floor, cashier counter, storage room, refrigerators, and customer areas.
Perform routine housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, wiping shelves, and disposing of waste.
Ensure all safety, hygiene, and food handling standards are followed.
Support promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and marketing activities.
Answer customer questions regarding products, promotions, and store services.
Resolve customer complaints politely and professionally or escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
Follow company policies, operational guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members.
Assist with opening and closing store procedures.
Prepare daily sales reports when required.
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Store Manager or Shift Leader.
Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
Minimum age of 21 years old.
No previous retail experience is required.
Fresh graduates and first-time job seekers are encouraged to apply.

Strong sense of responsibility and honesty.
Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic English communication skills are preferred.
Candidates with retail or customer service experience will have an added advantage but are not mandatory.
Working Hours
Working schedules may vary depending on store operational requirements.
Full-Time Employees
Five to six working days per week.
Rotating morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.
One or two rest days according to the work schedule.
Overtime opportunities may be available.
Part-Time Employees
Flexible working hours.
Minimum number of working hours per week may apply.

Salary
Full-Time SGD 2,300 – SGD 2,500 per month
Part-Time SGD 12.50 per hour
Salary offered may vary depending on qualifications, experience, assigned outlet, and company policy.
